Can someone give me some info on the anime One Piece? I hear its popular and a big hit, but don't know whats it about and if its any good? Can someone give me some the basic summary and if it's worth watching.

Go read reviews at www.animenfo.com as soon as it's back in business. I've only read a few chapters of the manga. It looks like it's promising, but the characters are irritating, the fights are not engaging and all the situations feel highly contrived. However it's hugely popular so I'm trying to read some more and see what's going on.

currently its up to volume 25+, if i am not mistaken. its the same as naruto, still running in japan.
