I decided to take Japanese 1 at my school, and let me tell you, it's pretty damn funny to listen to beginners say hajimemashite. It comes out sounding like ha-jim-ee-mah-shee-te vs. ha-ji-me-ma-sh-te. Oh well. At least there are people who are into anime... dubbed!

argdfg, that's pretty harsh, but Elizabeth IS being very snooty about the whole thing. Everyone needs to start a language from somewhere and not feel all hoity-toity just because they know a few extra words. >___<
