OMG! Both of my CD-drive are gone?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Animes : One Thread

Basically, I'm not sure what happened, but my comp can detect them, but their icons aren't in "MY COMPUTER" When I go to "device manager" it reads:

Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)

Does anyone know what this means?

Also, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it with no results still. Can someone please help me?

reboot your computer, and check it whether your computer detects those drivers before getting into windows.

i believe the default is f8, press it during start-up and get into CMOS.
