Are you over 18?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : MILDOT : One Thread

Ok, hands up if you are over 18 years old and shoot long guns?

I have read through a lot of the posts here and ...well....geez..the questions in some cases beggar belief. Guys, if you can get to this site, use a search engine and find some basic info. Then form a question and hit the forum. Some questions seem too obviously to be from kids.

Some questions are indeed from kids. I seem to remember this came up over a year ago. You know what, most of us don't really have a problem with it. Unlike many sites that deal with the subject kids don't get slagged off here for asking rather basic or less skillfully crafted questions. Also there is a good ethos of mutual respect on here and a total lack of unsuitable content. I would be happy for my Mum to see anything on here or for my kids to surf the site. Adam . . . (out)

I agree with you steve. I am over 18.

You will notice as you surf the net. Many Many adults and More kids would rather find someone to ask than to Find out the answer themselves.

nicely put mate I myself aint 18 as of yet lol but instead am 16 but ya I know what you mean and I agree, most of the questions here could have been answered by spending 10min with google. It is good to get first hand experience answers but you should also seek to find your own question to answers either by reading sites (which are usually made by people who have experience in the area) or by field testing. Well in any case there are many ways to seek knowledge and the most important thing is to keep doing it hence the saying “Be inquisitive and seek out knowledge. You do not stop learning. The sniper has nothing to learn has nothing to live for, and will quickly die.” Ok well let’s see what happens from now on. Take it easy all.
