TW banned me for nothing

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Animes : One Thread

those dang TW people, i went on their forums and asked something that i thought a lot of people would like to know themselves. How come it takes TW so long to post up the Bittorrent file of Naruto, which is already found at a core Bittorrent site for dl, which is also about 9 episodes ahead?

Also, now im curious, if these are out already, and now that i look at them, i always thought that TW made the naruto ainme project, but the ones that are offered at the bittorent site, have different organization names. Has TW never actually been the creaters?... it doesnt really bother me.. but im just very confused about the topic..

ALSO!!! IM GOING TO HOMECOMEING WITH THE CUTEST GIRL IN MY SCHOOL!! 3 CHEERS FOR ME!! YAY

YAY

YAY!!!!

Well I didn't understand the whole complaint part of the post, but good for you and all that. You can always go on their irc channel and ask the person who banned you why. Of course, since they're an etg group, this simply means you'll also get banned from their channel, but it's worth a shot.

actually TW is the pioneer for naruto project. it started by translating naruto manga, until the manga got licensed by tokyopop. then TW is also the first site that provide BT links for naruto animes. the rest just jumped in later period. like now, the saiyaman, animerev and |33t fansubbers starting their fansubs on episodes 45+ if i am not mistaken.

probly not they get touchy about that (not the good way)stuff

Thx Narti, im looking for a very good time too, ;)

ne how, wait... so, TW doesnt really make the anime then do they?... they just were the first to subb the series rite? i just had this notion that TW made it for some reason. So, the episodes are actually way farther ahead now ... its just that other organizations just happen to be faster at subbing and updating i guess. ne how, yea, i hate TW now.

THx for all the responses

The main torrent site for TW is http://a.scarywater.net/naruto. It probably wouldn't matter if TW has a site with torrent trackers of their own since scarywater's popular would keep the number of seeds afloat.
TW is a fansubbing group, not an anime studio. They just take what comes out of the tv and translate it.

i'm confused by your post, but i think most likely you're banned bcos you asked them why it took them long to post new eps. most fansub groups hate to be asked this kind of question, even animesuki forum consider it "illegal" to ask. the reason is simple, they do it for free so anime-lovers can enjoy the wonderful series and they don't like to feel like they're responsible to 'deliver' to us.

first off, i wish i had a copy of my post on their site, my question to them, was how there were already subbed, by toriyamaworld, bittorent files, far ahead of those being posted on the Toriyamaworld site. I also added, on the post, how i am not complaining, but just curious. Yet they did not put that into consideration, nor do i believe they even read it. Just because i put in word of other places where the anime existed, they felt threatened that theirs were no longer wanted, needed, or watnot. I just had to say this, but dont worry, being banned by THEM doesnt bother me at all. Just the fact i got banned for no explained reason. thats all... :P (IM An Ass in that sorta way, but hell, wat am i gonna do)

:)

TW is one of the best subbings for Naruto... it just that its getting too slow =|.... only upto 43.. while 50 is out.... but.. im gonna wait =D because i seen the other subs.. and its not that great in my opinion.... only anbu is OK.... =p

TW is normally like that. I remember asking the status of one of their mangas, whether or not they are still continuing it or if they needed extra manga scanners and they banned me for that.

I take that the guys in TW are not really that open to comments from "newbie" people. It's not really the friendliest site out there (compared to other manga translation / anime subbing sites) but then again they're doing a lot of work for free so who are we to complain...perhaps that's their overall outlook.
