I am a final year student pursuing the degree program Electrical/Mechanical at the COPPERBELT UNIVERSITY in Zambia.I would like to find out how to determine the effectiveness of an electric elevator magnetic brakes which have not been in use for a long time.Note that iam doing a project on the repair of such a systerm.

full load safty test would test this,full load on carplus 10 %on bottom floor run up one floor and back to bottom car should level and hold
