I began into black and white photography from a class in my high school and i would like to create a simple darkroom of my own so that i could continue after the class was over. I was wondering where i might look for a black and white photo enlarger or any suggestions as far as brand names and the like. Any suggestions welcome

porter's is ok but a bit high priced www.freestylesales.biz often has a special on low cost enlargers. i would suggest ebay as b&w enlarkers and even ones with filter drawers are obsolete?? and sell cheaply. but you have to be careful. but a brand that still exists for which you can gets parts like a different negative carrier. hopefully what you get will be complete and ready-to-use.
