i moved to my new address a year ago now and the last tenant left with leaving loads of unpaid debts behind! how can i get this all sorted out? also how can i check my own credit ratings? thanxs

Answers

First of all get a copy of your credit file from Equifax and / or Experian. You can do this on line for about £2 on line. this will give you all details of your credit history and if there is anything on it you don't agree with you can take it up with them...it's quite straightforward, but if you have any difficulties go to your Citizens Advice who will act on your behalf and the service is free.
