I really wonder if people here ever tried sending attached files over email

People keep asking and offering to get and send files over email again and again, and they never realize there is a 1-10 MB limit on file size?

That's something that always made me laugh. "If you have x episode, send it to me." Send it to you HOW? However, to give credit where credit is due, some people are more sensible and do suggest stuff like mail, AIM and irc.

If people are really desperate, they may try to use this mail server: www.mail15.com They give 15Mb inbox and you can send 10 Mb attachment. If you are rally have no hope...

Ah, I see. That was most helpful of you, Andy. A 10mb attachment definitely makes sense for manga chapters and even smaller volumes.

msn has the file transfer thing but it doesn't work well with animes. One time someone ask me to send them Rurouni Kenshin OVA which was 30mb. After about 1.5hr only 7mb was transfered. So I cancelled it. My dad doesn't like it when the computer is left on too long (he's worried about electricity bills or something) and I didn't want to wait for 4or5 hours while someone I didn't even know leeches a file off me.

Sending manga via email is fine, but people are ridiculous when they're trying to ask for sends of anime eps over email attachments.
