Odd jobs

Saw a show the other night where a woman paints live sharks while she's underwater with them. Now, just where in the brain did this idea come from? Did you know she's making big money doing this?

Kinda like the artist that blows up metal with C4. He sells it for outrageous prices. All I'd have is scrap metal. And they'd make me clean the place up.

Just wondering what other jobs there are out here that are odd.

How about those big fat guys at all the construction crews that lean on the shovels? I've often wanted one of those jobs! Okay you guys...we need 2 hard workers and 4 big fat shovel leaners to finish that road!!!

Say...where can I get one of them there shark pictures???

Why in the world would you wanna paint sharks...dead or alive??!! Is this body painting or just a manicure :-)!?

Why, ain't you two just too cute?

Kirk, I actually had one of those jobs with the Texas Highway Dept. when I got out of High School. I guess you have to work your way up to shovel leaning because they nearly worked me to death! Didn't stick around long enough to graduate to the easy jobs.

Marcia, how do you get a shark to stay still long enough to paint it? What do you add to the paint to thin it? Why did she wear a bikini to paint sharks? Shark attractant?

How about the woman in NYC that secured a federal arts grant to create a piece called "Woman Sleeping" and she slept 8 to 10 hours a day in a store display window. Now thats the way to make money :>)

Jay, just saw the performance art thing on the travel channel. The gal was just sitting behind a glass barrier, doing anything she wanted to. Reading, making phone calls, sleeping, etc. Don't know how much she was getting paid but I'll bet it was too much! And that's called "art"?
