Does anyone know how to communicate with DMC type of controller with a laptop without getting the freedom tool

I've tried screaming at them in the past but they didn't listen so I had to buy the tool. I do believe its the only way. Worth every penny though.

It can be done. needs a key same as the freedom.

If this is not the case, I would deffinatly be interested.

One option would be to purchase an original Dover DMC Fast tool. I have them available for about 1/2 the price of the freedom tool and they are much more user friendly. CAll me at 800-969-9788 if you are interested. Matt
