I was wondering if anyone wants to start a Shaman King project. If I start one, I'll need raws, translators, and, well, that's about it. I'd also need to figure out how to start an IRC channel and a website. Is anyone interested? E-mail me anytime.

If you're talking about the Shaman King anime, it's already been finished by a fansub group (soldats?) so there's no need for one. As for the manga, Nage at #manga-share has been working on it of late, so you can simply join his team. If you really really want to start an irc channel, try to pick a series that hasn't been done yet.

Ok, 2 things: 1. I will NEVER support the Shaman King anime. I think it's a discrace to the series, and whoever likes the FOX Box dub is a complete idiot. 2. I know that Nage is working on it. I'm a friggin' op. there. But I haven't been given one thing to work on, and they haven't put out anything in two weeks. I want to start my own.

You should probably badger Nage about it so the project can move along faster instead of giving up so easily. There's probably a good reason why the translation has halted and you won't know if you don't ask. If Nage is too busy, perhaps he'll let you take over for a bit.
