Wow! That's wonderful. I hope you keep going on this track and that we will soon see more of this.

-- Gobo (gobo@shallmoor.net), November 25, 2003.

Wow, oh my god that looks very very nice, it's so smooth. This is going to be very awesome when finished! I think I am senseing something here... a proposition to mtv to start a new Aeon Flux series? eh? EH? Yeah, like they would put any money into something as cool as that.

Maybe Peter has a spare script lying around somewhere...

-- Ashley Fox (3AM@T256.COM), November 25, 2003.

Why don't you send a copy of this to Peter? See what he thinks. Seems very nice btw, I'd love to see the rest of it when it is finished.

very nice!

It's so short.

Looks nice, but everyone else has already told you that so saying it now isn't anything new.

How long did it take to make just that one second of footage? Is your girlfriend an animation student or is she self-taught

-- Logo (vosepherus@aol.com), November 27, 2003.

The clip is short, still too early to decide wiether it's decent or not. Plus, anyone ever hear of doing something original??? It's a new concept, tell your girl to try it.

Hey Guys,

Logo - This animation clip took about a day to animate. Patricia is a graduate from a 3D Animation school here in Vancouver, BC. Our classical animation teacher was actually an "inbetweener" (drew the followthrough animation between key poses) for Aeon Flux--I thought that was pretty cool.

g00dchiLd - Thank you for your honest oppinion. I will be posting other clips and images in the next few weeks--but nothing to give away the entire feel of the animation just yet (after all, there has to be something to look forward on the final output). As for originality, this is just one of many 3D projects she has been involved with since her graduation. It was actually "my" idea to create a devoted Aeon Flux animation, since I was a huge fan of the television series--so I'll accept the "blame" for that one--but a little Fan Art never hurt anybody.

This is the coolest thing to ever hit this board. Thanks for posting this stuff Doug

I second all praise, thats classy stuff.

Hey guyz! This is my first post on this forum. I think the Aeon Flux 3D animation is great, the cell chading is a perfect render meathod for Aeon. Its so nice to see dedicated fans out there putting forth the incentive. Im a 3D Artist from Applied Multimedia in Calgary, my 3D Digital teacher used to teach at VFS (Greame Moris) your gf may know him ?? Thats very cool one of her teachers was a tweener for Aeon Flux, for me thats a dream come true. Damn those acetate sheets :)

cheers guyz

Hello All, I peek around every once and a while to see what is still lingering out there for Aeon Flux, and to see people still chating about it, is pretty cool. The animation is great, keep up the good work. Any tips on where to get an original DVD? (Beside Ebay)

Damn good teaser. I want more! I really miss Aeon!
