Is there blood on your hands?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Catholic : One Thread

Only them with understanding and them that have an ear can hear the truth. You speak lies and decieve the children of god. You're a "rainbow in the dark". Look behind you, your past tells your future. Your past is full of blood and deceit. There is no martyrs of jesus christ in you, just their blood on you.

In your own doctrine you proclaim your sins and proudly confess that your "harlot daughter"(protestant) abides by your rule. Yes, you are worthy to drink blood. Don't be confussed, is it the ANGEL or the BEAST?????? There is a synagogue of satan, add it up the numbers agree. Satan is not going to come to the world as a horrible ghastly thing. He comes just like the beautiful serpent in the garden of eden. First deceiving the woman (church) then the woman (church) decieves the man into partaking of her sins. SOUND FAMILLIAR-DO YOU HEAR?????? In the name of jesus christ unclog your ears.

Dear Michael,

May you have the blessings of Jesus Christ, my friend. The Catholic Church has had an enormous number of martyrs through its history.

1 Corinthians 13

1 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing. 4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. 12 Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. 13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

When a father tells his child not to play in the street, does he hate his child? When he disciplines his child for disobeying does he hate his child? To teach a person about dangers is love. To give a person laws that prevent danger is love. God gave his laws which were wrote by his own hand, because he loves, to disobey is death. Obey all ten laws not some. Did not jesus say to love him is to love the father? To love the father is to obey his law.

Dear Michael,

I don't know much about Seventh Day Adventists. Why do you trust Ellen G. White? (I admit, I'm not sure I have that name right.) Just curious.

I must ask you to please honor the name of the Father and Jesus Christ by at least using Capital letters.

I never said I trust (Ellen?? whoever) she is of man. As for seventh- day adventist i believe it to be a group of people who believe the sabbath day is what it is ...saturday and believing the truth that is in the bible. Gods words are the truth, anything written by man may be inspired, faulty,or deceiving. I believe in JESUS CHRIST as the messiah and to know him is to know the FATHER and to know the FATHER is to obey his words written by his own hand. That is to obey ALL his commandments not some. Try it you will agree. All your mysteries and doubt will be revealed. God bless, you have been warned!

Dear Michael,

I heard somewhere that your denomination started when Ellen G. White saw a halo around the commandment about the Sabbath day, in a supernatural revelation, and that she prophesied a bunch of other stuff. You don't talk about her in you denomination? (I don't mean to offend, I'm just curious what your beliefs are.)

Thats ok, no offense taken. The word advent means to arrive, to use, not to invent. So, saying that i am a seventh day adventist means that i have arrived on the seventh day - sabbath - saturday to use as that day as the sabbath. As for Ellen, she was a person like you and i. She had dreams, visions, maybe even epileptic siezures , who knows , who really cares. I dream, you dream if it has meaning to you, so be it. By saying that i am a seventh day adventist i believe saturday to be the true sabbath. Isn't it intriguing how the catholic church confirms this in their own docterine when they defend their right against the protestant beliefs??? I don't belong to any organized religions church. I don't physically go to church on sunday, saturday, or any day of the week. Jesus is the church..........what does that mean? A church or synagogue in the ancient days was a place to go to atone or repent of your sins, and sacrificing of lambs was a part of it. That is why Jesus is seen and called the lamb. Through him is the atonement, repentance, and sacrificing of sins. He is the church. Jesus said his gospel will be preached to all by the end. That is becoming reallity. It is here, sometimes it is just surrounded by lies and deceit, no thanks to satan. Well, im sure these words will be twisted but, to defeat your enemy, you must know him. So, maybe you need to take a little walk with the enemy, it's the way that i've found. Read Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Read and "understand" the parables Jesus Christ spoke, there is the answers. He was asked why he speaks in parrables. What was his answer? If you truly "understand" what the parables mean all the mysteries and answers will be revealed.

I just didn't understand what you meant by the second sentence, and I was hoping you could specify. Were you talking about the Saturday night vigil?

No, check out this site (www.aloha.net/~mikesch) it will probably answer some of your questions. Be prepared it is very lengthy but interesting.

Dear Mike,

Well, I checked it out, my brother in Christ.

I also read up just a bit on Seventh Day Adventists, and from what I saw, there are some who also hold to the Jewish laws on not eating pork and things like that. I was curious whether you too hold to all these laws.
