Paul-a little help?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Catholic : One Thread

Paul,

I was curious as to something I read in forum that, you haven't answered as Moderator.

I read John G say to you,"..worst of all you deleted my posts on the linked thread.."

Why are you ignoring John? And why would you delete his posts? Why delete John asking a question, and let Jeanie post the anti-Catholic garbage tat s/he does?

What am I missing here? [I do know I am not the sharpest knife in drawer]

Thanks(if you enlighten me) in advance.

David, I appreciate your support!

I am hoping that what happened was just a bad series of oversights and accidents, rather than a deliberate decision to insult me.

I mean this:
1. I hope that Paul M didn't notice my posts of the 4th and early 5th on the original thread -- explaining why he didn't respond to them in a timely way.
2. I hope that, when I started a new thread later on the 5th (asking him to look at those two posts and respond to them), he then accidentally deleted those two posts -- without having read them and responded to them -- as part of his deleting a whole long string of messages that were unrelated to the topic of the original thread.
3. I hope that he has failed to respond to my follow-up message to him on the 6th because he somehow overlooked that one too.

But, rather than remain uncertain about this, David, I just restated the whole thing -- all my concerns and questions -- for Paul, earlier today, in an e-mail message, which I am confident he will see and respond to. So I am not planning to pursue these matters on the "urgent concerns" thread any more. (As you know, that thread has been mindlessly trashed by an irrelevant debate.)

I'll let you know how things work out, if Paul decides to respond to me only privately. I have urged him to respond publicly, because we all need total clarity about this matter -- not just me.

God bless you.
John
