Not really...or maybe we don't know. If there were Square is definitely not telling. But their goal was to make their characters look as realistic as possible so maybe Square gathered some features they liked on real people and combined them together. Even the clothes in FFX (not X2) were based on real Japanese costumes.

Well im not sure but i think that they dress better that people today do but come to think about it i dress almost exactly like the FFX-2 Characters and so do most of my friends.So yes they are based on real people i mean they had to get the cloths idea from somewhere right?

each character is realistic looking enough that there are probably tons of people out there that look like them..but as for being based on real people...like someone else said...the good ppl at square probably took a bunch of good qualities from different people to make three totally awesome looking characters, but not too fake:)

well lenne is based on a singer who sings "Real Emotion" & "1000 Words" in FFX2 whose name goes by Koda Kumi! but basically i think that's it!

ya i'm pretty sure that the characters r actually models...i got sum info from a japanese friend of mine. what i heard tidus is hideaki takizawa, yuna looks a lot like utada hikaru, lenne....i'm not sure but the singer is koda kumi and squall is Gackt. so far thats whut i know but hideaki takizawa is so cute ^^*~
