Planned Parenthood kills record number of babies in 2002-2003; profits way up

Washington, DC, Dec. 12 (LifesiteNews.com/CWN) - The Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) has released its 2002-2003 Annual Report which shows that the leading US abortion group killed 227,385 babies by surgical abortion in 2002. While the overall number of abortions are declining in the US, PPFA surgical abortions increased over 14,000 from 2001 and the group's profits shot up 300 percent from $12.2 million in 2001 to $36.6 million last year. The profit margin is based on the 2002 PPFA income of $766.6 million, $254.4 million of which was US taxpayer money.

A great eye opener. How shockingly demonic! How foolish and beguiled are these pro-abortion groups to think after all this evil, they will get away scott free and live happily forever and forever. The "blood of innocent cry out for vengence." Their avenger is all powerful and will judge these foolish, cruel, and accursed pro-abortionists. Hah! "Planned Parenthood " what sweet name for such a wicked work.

The fall of twin towers is just a small warning for America to repent, else destruction is imminent. What comes to my mind about America is Babylon in Revelation chap 17-18; so strickingly similar.

Thanks Bill

I am not sure how any Catholic can vote Democratic knowing this.

What I think is more astonishing is that for every 1 adoption referrel there were 115 abortions performed. And for every 1 pre- natal care client there were 14 abortions performed.

I hope and pray that those people that are thinking of abortions would give up their babies for adoption so that the baby can live and so that the adoptive parents can have a child of their own.

Hi, how many Saddams are there in our free, democratic, once Christian world!! And nobody tries to stop them! I think that abortion is worst then Saddam's crimes. Even if I'm catholic, I can understand some of the muslim feelings against our western civilisation. At least they do not kill unborn babies.

-- Pier Luigi Miglioli (migliolipl@yahoo.it), December 15, 2003.

Pier Luigi, why have you not thought more deeply about this?

You wrote: "And nobody tries to stop them!"
Wrong! Millions of citizens are trying to stop abortions -- without lethal weapons -- but have not yet succeeded.

Yes, millions of other citizens are not trying to stop abortions. Then why were they willing to try to stop bin Laden and Hussein? Because they saw that those maniacs were killing and maiming people whom they could see -- "born people" whose personhood they are sure of. But many of them don't try to stop abortions because they don't believe in the personhood and rights of the unborn. They need to be much better educated about this, but the liberals who control the media and the schools hide the facts from them!

God bless you.

You will see movement on the abortion issue if you vote Republican throughout the entire ballot. Democrates keep abortion happening in the USA.

Bill,

That is not entirely true. There are Republicans that vote pro- death and there are Democrates that vote pro-life. For example Rudy Guiliani, a republican, is "pro-Choice." While the new Governor of Louisiana, Kathleen Blanco, is pro-life.

So just remember that blanket statements are not always useful.

This site might be helpful.

Saying there are pro-life Democrates is like saying there were Zionist Nazis. I am sure there are some, but they don't speak out and influence their party. If you by into the idea that you can somehow vote Democratic and save children, you are causing great harm.

Over the last, I don't know how many elections, the Democratic party has has a pro-abortion plank. The Democrat Senators fillabuster any anti-abortion judge that Bush and the Republicans put up because they know that it is in the courts that it will be decided. The Democrates are run by pro-death forces. The abortionists have a iron lock on the party.

If you don't believe me, read the Democratic National Committee's website, here is a quote: "The Democratic Party is pledged to upholding a woman's right to choose, consistent with Roe v. Wade. Democrats believe it is a fundamental constitutional liberty that individual Americans - not government - can best take responsibility for making the most difficult and intensely personal decisions regarding reproduction. In 1998, Congressional Democrats and President Clinton enacted legislation guaranteeing access to contraceptive care for federal employees and their family members. This year Congressional Democrats fought to retain this access after President Bush proposed eliminating it. President Bush is strongly anti-choice and has indicated that his administration may challenge Roe v. Wade. Since he took office, Bush has taken every opportunity to chip away women's reproductive rights by reinstating the Mexico City Policy, a Reagan-era funding ban on family planning services worldwide; trying to eliminate guaranteed access to contraceptive coverage; and undermining the legal logic of Roe v. Wade." see: http://www.democrats.org/issues/women.html

No, if you are really serious about getting rid of abortion, you are going to have to get rid of those who are keeping it in place, and that is the Democrats.

To add insult to injury, the Democratic National Committee actually has a link to the anti-Catholic organization 'Catholics for a Free Choice' on their website:"http://www.democrats.org/links/#religious

I guess they have decided to declare war on Catholicism now.

No, a good Catholic can't possibly vote for a Democrat!

I agree with you 99%, Bill. Scott, still learning, had a naive view of the parties until you informed him.
But, Bill, where you are wrong is this: we are taught not to vote along party lines, but according to where each specific candidate stands on the issues. That is why we could have voted, for example, for the late, great governor of Pennsylvania, pro-life Catholic Democrat Robert Casey, as opposed to his less worthy Republican foes.

-- J. F. Gecik (jfgecik@hotmail.com), December 15, 2003.

Bill and John,

I think you need to learn a few things. I mean, John, you even said it yourself in regards to Pennsylvania. If you were truly sticking up for Bill than how could you say that. It is not the Democrats we need to get out of office, but all people that support abortions, whether they are Republican or Democrats.

So John and Bill wake up and realize that politics isn't so black and white. Just because the official stance of a party is one way or another doesn't mean that everyone in the party thinks the same way.

So vote for pro-lifers whether Democrats or Republicans.

-- Scott (papasquat10@hotmail.com), December 16, 2003.

So vote for pro-lifers whether Democrats or Republicans

Look at all the issues that candidate may be presented with. Rank the issues as to moral importence and likelihood the candidate will have to weigh in on the issue during his tenure in office and then vote for the appropriate candidate. For example, a mayor has really no power over the abortion issue, but could make life difficult for churches and religious organizations in his city. A pro-life mayor who is in favor of all the other Democratic platform points would make an anti-Catholic mayor.

A US Senator who is pro-life can bring in pro-life judges who will have influence on the court decisions on abortion. A US Congressman would not.

Again, for the vast majority of cases, don't vote Democratic.

In Christ, Bill

-- Bill Nelson (bnelson45@hotmail.com), December 17, 2003.

Scott, I am already wide awake! I don't need to wake up. Somehow you missed the fact that Bill admitted that someone might (rarely) be forced to vote for a Democrat -- because the Republican is much worse.
But let's see if you are thinking rightly or not, Scott ...

Suppose your state has a race for Senator in which the two candidates take the same stance on abortion (either both equally pro-life or both equally pro-death). Now let's suppose that each supports his party's platform on all other issues. Which one would you, a Catholic, vote for, now that you cannot look to abortion as a guiding issue?

Scott, since I suspect that you would vote the little "D" in that situation ... I want to invite Bill to list for you the moral issues that would persuade him, as a Catholic, to vote the big "R" in that situation.

God bless you.
John

Please pray for us here in Canada. There is not the speaking out against the murder of abortion like in the states. You guys rock! I am Catholic too, may the Lord bless all of you in 2004

IMHO, a good Catholic can perfectly well vote for a Democrat -- as long as that Democrat is pro-life. (Although those are few and far between.)

Personally, I will NEVER vote for President Bush, a man who presided over a record number of executions during his governorship. I wouldn't exactly call THAT pro-life, either.

*Sigh* I may end up voting for myself.

The death penalty is at least in the Bible and can be justified if no other way of protecting society from certain crimes exists (not sure if that is true in Texas or not). So there is a grey area here. There is no grey area as far as murdering innocent children. NEVER vote in favor of abortion, even if it is by abstaining from voting in favor of an anti-abortion candidate because of your distaste for him.

The Michigan Catholic Conference and the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops provide resources for every citizen to understand the Church's positions on issues and allow every voter to be an informed voter. This information can be obtained at:

I voted for Bush in 2000 specifically because of the abortion issue. I feel more strongly about life, and the right to life, than any other. It is in the same vein that I'm a strict vegetarian.

However, having been paying enough attention over the last few years to realize that now president Bush has done effectively *NOTHING* to stop this horrible tide of murder, I am forced to conclude that I cannot in good conscience vote for him over his enemies in this next election(There are other reasons I wouldn't vote for Bush again anyway, but this is the most pertinent).

I was hopeful about Howard Dean, until I went to his website and read his horrifying history and remarks concerning abortion. So do so for yourself if you don't already know.

What is a morally aware person to do? Throw away one's vote on a pro-life candidate that has no chance in winning? Not vote? Politics in this country suck. I'm sick of it, and I wish that it were based on philosophical debate and thought rather than political maneuvering, mud-slinging, lying, and bait&switching.

Bush has at least signed a law that would outlaw partial birth abortion (something Clinton vetoed). I would say vote to keep the Democrates out of the Whitehouse so they can't pass a law and have it signed that would overturn this law.

I feel more strongly about life, and the right to life, than any other. It is in the same vein that I'm a strict vegetarian.

Realize that animals do not have immortal souls, people do. There is a difference. We can murder people, we cannot murder animals. The law from God is 'Thou shalt not commit murder'.

Jared,

"..It is in the same vein that I'm a strict vegetarian."

What does this have to do with the cheap price of pot in Asia?

Jared,

".I was hopeful about Howard Dean, until I went to his website and read his horifying history and remarks concerning abortion."

You where shooting for a fallen star, Jared! There was NEVER nothing to be "hopeful" about this baby killer.

But don't worry about the 2004. President Bush will be a "lock"! I think we have to start preparing someone for 2008. We need to start building and praying for a good President for the future, because if we don't that feminist(baby killer) Hillary will do worse than her perverted"cigar loving" husband did. We can't loose ground.

We have to move forward and stop the slaughter of innocent babies. We need to look past a few months.

God bless you, brother.
