Almost free books

Sandy's been watching these Clean Sweep shows on television and I think they're rubbing off on her. She's been discarding things right and left. I couldn't find things before but, now when I can't find them, I find that they're gone for good, never to be found again. Now, of course, none of that stuff on the shows has rubbed off on me but I've been getting rid of a bunch of books. Got way too many books and most of them are in boxes, never to see the light of day again in this life time. I've got a bunch of Mother Earth News and Organic Gardening books that I'm getting rid of. If anyone wants a particular issue to finish out their collection, e-mail me and I'll send them, first come first served. I'll be happy to mail them out and only request that you pay the postage after you receive them. Christmas will be a little tight this year since we just spent around $300 on our dog at the vet so we don't have money to be sending out 30 or 40 magazines. Seems like we had another dog once that cost us $300 in vet bills right at Christmas time. Good timing. Oh well, both dogs got well and that was what counted.

After about a week, we'll hold a lottery for the rest of them, if anyone's interested and has any money left.

Books!! Want books!! (My husband is gonna kill me!) So, what years you got there, Wildman? I know that I loaned out a couple of TMENs to a fellow that passed away, so I'm missing some. I'll have to run out to the shed today and try to figure out what ones. Hee-hee; sounds like a good excuse to finally bring those into the house.

You know, you could make some money on those on E-Bay; or even half.com. Might help with that vet bill.

Polly, sorry about taking so long. I don't know what issues I have. I've got them boxed up. If you'll let me know which ones you're missing, I'll dig them out and see if I've got them. I'll even save the ones you want and you can pick them up, next time you're in town.

If I put them on E-bay, I would probably lose money. Trust me, it would, somehow, end up costing me money.

You're the only one that showed any interest in the books so I guess there's no sense in trying to peddle the rest of them.

Thanks, Jack!! Such a nice guy, you are! I've been back in overtime hell, so haven't had a chance to drag those mags in to sort them. I'll let you know as soon as I can. Thanks again!
