I am looking for a pumpkin that is bright orange inside. Does anyone know of a variety that is? Also, just so everyone knows, I don't want to use a squash, I want pumpkin.

Judy, have you ever grown Sweet Meat. It is a really nice nutty squash with a dry flesh similar to a potato. It is not incredibly sweet. Just right!

I bought a kabocha (sp?) squash and cooked it the other day. It was a bit sweet for table eating to my taste (I like my squash more on the savory side), but would make really good pie.
