Here are my all time favorite tomatoesDelicious- these have not been a reliable cropper, but when they crop they are the best!
Black Krim- I absolutely love this tomato. Just thinking about these makes my mouth water. This tomato is tough and crops well under adverse conditions.
Fourth of July- What makes this a favorite is that it is extremely early(49 days), and it is a great tasting tomato as well. It produces and produces.
Brandywine
Aunt Rubies German Green- I love the spritely flavor of this one. It is like a Granny Smith apple compared to a Red Delicous Apple.
Green Grape- Perhaps the finest tasting named cherry tomato I have come across.
Last Years Mistake- Last year I ordered a Currant tomato variety from Parks called Ildi. However, when I grew it out, I had one plant that was a red cherry type that was just fabulously flavored. Almost none of those tomatoes made it into the house. They were all eaten in the garden.
Old German - A very nice tomato
Sweetie- cherry tomato
Early Girl is a good tomato for sheer crop size, which is nice for canning. However it's flavor leaves a lot to be desired IMHO.

Rutgers , Marmande, Carmello, Larissa. They just don't breed them witg the old-fashionrd taste anymore!! We grew Rutgers in my mom's Victory Garnen in WW2, and as far as I am concerned, it has never been surpassed for flavor. And, not TOO big....I dislike beefstakes...personal opinion.
