how to see Pope John Paul

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Catholic : One Thread

I am traveling to Rome in June, 2004 and would like to see the Pope speak. What days of the week and times does he speak to the public and how can I attend these appearances?

Thank you.

Kevin

You can get tickets to the general papal audience held usually any Wednesday at Saint Peter's Basilica. Some parts of this audience are in English. Get the tickets through your diocesan office, or you can write the Vatican directly.

Also, the Pope gives a speech every Sunday at noon from his papal apartments looking down into Saint Peter's square. He gives this speech in Italian.

Happy Pope Watching!
