I think it would have to be dragonballz....the fact that they even THOUGHT about making a live action movie is beyond me. That anime has WAY to many segments and is WAY too long for its own good. Anime and even AMERICAN cartoons are animated. Live action is real people. Do NOT mix them together--It is absurd to even THINK that a DBZ, or ANY animated series should become live-action. Things like Hulk and Spiderman, OK, the were pulled off well. So it's not ALWAYS a bad idea, but it IS always a bad idea when it comes to Anime. 'Nuff said.

Yeah, I have to agree. Making a live-action movie about Dragonball Z would be an insane idea. My only hope is that if they DO make it (God forbid) they follow through to the Buu saga so I can see who they will cast for Chibi Trunks adn Goten. But in the long run, the idea is just box-office loss in the making. Now a Movie BASED upon Dragonball Z (like The Z Chronicles, for instance) wouldn't be that bad. But straight from Anime to movie would turn out bad.

Like I said, I just want to see who they cast for Chibi Trunks and Goten. I wonder if they will find kids that just look like them, or if they will be smart enough to get kids who have that whole kawaii chibi aura about them. Somehow I doubt it...how funny it would be if they did this (again, God forbid)all the way to the end of Z and then continued on to GT. I mean GT is so bad I don't think they could make it any worse, but they'll figure out a way!

When one of my previous friends (I say previous cause I'm not friends with that asshole anymore) told me about the live action dbz movie, he came up with such bullshit as Keanu Revves will play Goku, and Jackie Chan will play Vegeta, and Vin Diesel wil play Picollo, and GoldDust will play Nappa. And he was actually serious about that. But it would look so retarded. Especially the hair. They had a commercial here where they advertised dbz toys, and had this kid pretend to be a super saiyin. And the hair and body actions looked so retarded.

They had commercials? When? Where? That's so wierd. I remember they had a promo for CartoonNetwork.com a long time ago and there were these guys wearing Vegeta and SSJ Goku outfits and if you remember that episode where they showed the Cell Games "recreation" where Mr. Satan won they looked EXACTLY like that. I LOVE that scene!!!!!!!! But honestly, I did see the dub of it (Video Clip) and it's funnier. They made it more accurate to how WE, conincidentally, would dub a Japanese movie like Godzilla!!!!!! In the Japanese one it was pretty much normal dialouge. Ex-Gokou's line to Cell is "Omee wa ora-tachi ga taosu! Iku zo!", or "We will defeat you! Let's go!" in Gokou's hick dialect. In English it was much funnier cuz he said a very cheesy "We will defeat you Cell-Monster!! Let's fight now!". But yeah, that was still Anime!!! And side thought--Gohan-Kun's hair was really shiny!!!! HE WAS KAWAII!!!!!! They were all Chibi and very shiny! But in live action it's pathetic and actually for a minute makes you fell ashamed for being a fan of the Anime...Until you realize American Anime people are retarded and you only stick to Japanese Dragonball and it's OK!!!!! But yeah...

Yeah, that was funny. And I have that scene on tape along with the whole episode and the following two. (E-bay, $3.50 total with shipping!) And it features Chibi Trunks and Goten beating the crap out of some stupid human guys and then fighting each other, much fun! Anyway, I'm getting hopelessly off topic so...a DBZ live action movie would be a complete and utter failure. Unless, of course, it was based upon The Z Chronicles, then it would kick ass!!!

I'd go see a Lupin III live action movie, but then again, that is one of the more realistic ones. Even though computer graphics have come a long way, they are no where near being able to make something like DBZ look real. Sure, they could make something like those Pixar movies, but that wouldn't be live action! There are some things that are never ment to be done...and turning a fantasy anime into live action movie is one of those things!
