In my world (Thus whenever I draw the characters usually, like in my Doujinshii) the Saiyajin's tails never got cut off. Such a cool trait shouldn't be wasted like dat!!!!!!!!!!! THE TAILS ARE AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! And the Chibi's should have 'em!!!!!!! Well yeah...I miss the days of Chibi Gohan with his tail...Movie #5 is cool cuz he has the Nameksei hairstyle but his tail, so yeah...But I think I'll stop drawing them all with the tails except Gohan-Kun. He's the only one who was never explained why the tail never grew back!!!! Gokou's was permanently removed by Kami-Sama, Vegeta was told by the guy at the Medical Machine that his tail could not be regenerated (Though Vegeta was sure it would grow back eventually), Mirai no Trunks, I guess, just had his tail cut off as a baby and it just must have had the same treatment as Gokou's did when cut off (My theory anyway), and the same for the Chibi's. But GOHAN had his tail, and Piccolo cut it off after he destroyed the moon for Oozaru Gohan, thinking the tail was a weakness anyway. But during the fight with Vegeta Gohan's tail grew back, though was quickly cut off AGAIN...And that was really the last time in the entire series we heard from the tails. I think that with the entire plot thickening and stuff from the Freeza Saga on the tails were just a forgotten thing of the past, and weren't so important (Plus I know from experience what a bitch they are to draw!). But we were never given a reason why Gohan's tail didn't grow back again!!!!!!!!! Plus I've seen a few Doujinshii that take place after the Freeza Saga where he has his tail, and it's so damn cute I just draw it anyway. But yeah...Anyone else have a theory about what happened to the tails? Or does anyone else agree with me how cool/and or Kawaii the tails are and they shouldn't have been disposed of? I think Akira didn't want to have to deal with the lil kids(Goten and Trunks) turning into the giant apes. Goten and Trunks are ALOT more powerful then gohan was at there age. So it would have been extremly hard for the others to control them.

Good theory, but Toriyama had Piccolo destroy the moon long ago!! Twice, so maybe the moon grows back (The first time was in original DB, but Jackie Chun did it then)? Wierd. But hmmmm...Chibi Gokou or Gohan never seemed to have a problem sitting with the tails...Also if it WAS unconfortable tey could wrap them around their torsos like Vegeta, Nappa, and Radditz did. Hmmmm...I think Toriyama-Sensei may have just forgotten, but the TAILS KICK ASS!!!!!!!!!

And AngelGoten, when did Goten get wings exactly? Random note--In my Doujinshii your hair is similar style to Gokou/Goten's and YOU have wings and a tail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hehehehehehehe!!

Anyway, my theory (A bit patchy) is that a tail is just a recessive gene for Saiya-jin. Think about it, if EVERY SINGLE Saiya-jin went Oozaru when the moon went full the whole planet would be destroyed!! Anyway, if tails were a recessive gene only certain combinations of parents would bear children with tails. That would mean that the generation that Goku and Vegeta came from would have their tails, while the next would not. Plus that would explain why Saiya-jin military have tails. So also that would mean that the mating between a Saiya-jin and a human would result in an impossibility for a tail in their children. And Gohan? He's just a random mutation that screws up my theory! (Damn him!)

I believe I've asked this before, but if Shippo means tail in Japanese then Shippo from Inu Yasha is a pun on tail? Well Inu Yasha means Dog Demon so maybe it's not so bad...Do ALL Anime name their characters on puns? What do you think I have been doing all these years except reading through law books??? I've been researching into the Majin abbility, and can now do it at will, and get other's to go Majin as well. I know he can already go SSJ2, but he would be ALOT stronger when he can go Majin. And I'm also rying to dissprove that theory of half sayians not being able to go beyond SSJ2, while at the same time trying to go SSJ3 myself.

In the Christmas story you do go SSJ3, Majin Vegita!!!! And yeah, Chibi Trunks and ESPECIALLY not Chou-Kirei Mirai no Trunks aren't gay, only GT Trunks!!!!!!!! HE CROSSDRESSES FOR CHRIST SAKES!!!!!!!!! But how about they can only go Majin if they fuse? They can ALREADY go SSJ3, AND Gotenks has a more suitable personality to be Majin. But I really don't think 1/2 or less blood Saiyajin can go past SSJ2. And plus--Logically speaking through knowledge of DBZ, Chibi Trunks could not become a Majin. He may have Vegeta's blood and be a bit of a brat, but I don't think he has any evil in his heart. But SSJ3 Majin Gotenks would kick ass!!!!!!!!! If I counted DBGT as existing, SSJ4 Majin Gotenks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...But they ain't Chibi in GT, so how about the still Chibi Gotenks but pretend he can go SSJ4? What the Hell am I talking about?

I still don't think it will work. Trunks is too carefree and happy and cute (don't know if being cute matters but I had to say it!) to be evil. I don't even think that Vegeta was evil when he was a Chibi. *Thinks to some clips from Bardock of Chibi-Vegeta killing people and blowing up stuff* Well maybe he was already that evil, but it won't work with Trunks because he was around me too long and if there was any evil in him I got it out! And I still think only Full-Saiya-jin can go furthur than SSJ2.

No, I think that everyone with Saiyajin blodd gets a tail, and that the others (Mirai no Trunks, the Chibi's, Pan, etc.) just had them removed at birth, probably because it was a weakness...Or again, because Toriyama-Sensei forgot!! I think the reason Gohan was given the tail was to show his relation to Gokou before it is actually stated that he's his son (But then again, this wouldn't make sense in the Manga because Gokou almost instantly introduces him as his son after we see he has a tail, but in the Anime there's that whole scene where Gohan's on da cliff and Gokou saves him...)

Well whatever!! The tails are Chou-Kawaii and shouldn't have been removed and that's all there is to it!!

Nah. The movies just don't make any sense whatsoever (with the exception of maybe Movie #9, which is my 2nd favorite). That's a good point though ,but also a reason why movies don't make sense-Why the Hell would they have 'em in the movie but not the series? I know they were babies, but Baby Trunks was in enough scenes of the Cell Saga and even got his diaper changed...And he had NO tail...I really think that by that point Toriyama-Sensei had forgotten about the tail!!
