Margaret James Porter and Bruce Porter

greenspun.com : LUSENET : San Francisco History : One Thread

I am looking for information on Margaret James Porter (1887-1950) and her husband, Bruce Porter. They were married around 1916, where Bruce Porter had lived for years. He was an architect and a friend of Margaret (Peggy) Porter's uncle, Henry James. I am particularly interested in any correspondence related to Margaret Porter's parents, Alice H. G. and William James. Thank you!

I'm a rare book dealer

I bought the last of the estate dating back to Margaret & Bruce; sold some to Harvard, some to UC-B (Bancroft).

Have painting by Bruce of his wife; Alice James & Margaret's jewelry, & odds & ends here./p
