The Apostle's Creed was not written by the Apostle's; it is the culmination of several centuries of reflection on the meaning of the Christian faith. The ancient church used this Creed to identify believers, to instruct new converts, and to provide a unifying confession of faith for worship and liturgy.

If we can truthfully subscribe to the Apostle's Creed, we accept the diety of God expressed in three persons, and his lordship over every aspect of our lives. The Beattitudes, the words of Jesus can be included also in the answer. Both of these are the guiding influence in our lives. In other words, we will want to live a life directed by Christ. That means we must find a Word-Directed church and become a member of the same, study to understand the Word of God and then accept the freedom in Christ Jesus. No new Christian should attempt to study alone, hence the Word-directed Church. You will not find "rules" to influence your walk; Jesus summarized the Ten Commandents: Love God with all your heart mind and soul, and Love your neighbor as yourself. That gives us freedom in Christ Jesus. In the Colossian letter 2:9, 10 asserts that all that God is was revealed in the flesh by Christ Jesus, and that we, as believers, are "complete in Him". therefore we aree free from "rules" made by men as our entire focus is on Christ.

Be Blessed
