SCL # 1776 and # 1776:2 Which was the Bicentennial Unit?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : ACL and SAL Railroads Historical Society : One Thread

SCL had two U36B units with the 1776 road number.

SCL # 1776 became SCL # 1813, then SBD # 1813, then SBD # 5764, then CSX # 5764, and is still hanging around CSX's Waycross Shops as CSX # WL01. CSX calls the unit a "B36-8".

SCL # 1776:2 became SBD # 1776, then SBD # 5728, then CSX # 5728.

Which of the two units received the red, white and blue Bicentennial colors as SCL # 1776?

I have heard that each of the two units was the Bicent. unit. Which is the correct unit?

Thanks! Aaron Dowling
