WELL, int he Genesis Acount, the sin was disobeying God, the reaosn she disobeyed was because she queastioned God when he spoke agaisnt eatign the fruit. The Serpent lied about htat bit, but she queastioned God, and likewise disobeyed.

As to wrong, its wrong because its presumption and arrogance. We are xreated beings, not gods.

If you were the ultimate loving father and provided not only life for your 1 year old child but also everything that child could ever need including unlimited love and fellowship with you, how would you feel if that child suddenly decided to reject your love and fatherhood and demand parity with you? Wouldn't that make you sad? Isn't that wrong? Is a 1 year old ready for life on their own? Are they experienced or wise? Compared to God, Adam and Eve were mere babes. Yet they were deceived and led astray by one who would kill them - the devil.

Yet even though Eve and Adam did just that and reaped the consequences of their own decision, God continued to love them unconditionally and began implementing a plan through which He was able to reconcile his created children who rejected Him. The price would be extreme, He would have to allow His only begotten Son to become flesh and die a brutal death in order to bring them back into relationship with Him as He originally intended.

After becoming a father for the first time over 9 years ago, I truly began to better understand how God the Father feels about us and ouor relationship with Him.

Dave, Wait until you children are grown and you need to grant them free will ...

Grown? You don't think a 2 year old has free will? The ones I know sure do! :- )
