LOL! Yup; we sure did - we both worked! Me: Thu/Fri/Sat/Sun; Hubs: Fri/Sat/Sun. We have a gift cert from a fancy-shmancy restaurant from Mama Gano, so we will probably go out this week or the next. Hubs just bottled up 21 bottles of wine, so I got him a wine rack; he sent out to WA state to get me a big box of my favorite candy; we were both very pleased!

Thank you for thinking of us!

Sooo Polly...Just wonderin whats your favorite candy? Don't tell me. Ah.. oh.... okay my guess is Nuts n Chews See's candy?? Am I right?

Sorry Kirk; It's Liberty Orchards Aplet and Cotlets, and Fruit Delights - the pineapple macadamia nut delights are wonderful!! And the other flavors are pretty good too! I think that they are so special to me because we only used to have them once a year, when family in WA would send us a box for Christmas.

Nuts and Chews See's candy, huh? Well, I'm always willing to try something new!

Do any of you have any "local" delights that you don't see anywhere else you go? Or certain foods you can only get at certain places?

Polly,

Sheesh. We drive by the Aplets and Cotlets place every time we go to E. Washington (well every time we go over Stevens Pass, not Snoqualmie Pass...depends on the snow). I'll think of you every time we go by! If I see any great bargains, I'll pick something up for you. What assortment/arrangement do you like best?

And Happy Birthday, btw...!!

Happy aniversary, Polly! I got one comin up in a couple weeks too, March 1, will be 29 years. I finally got Bren to go to couple counseling! She was terrified I know, but we've been going for a couple months now and it's been wonderful! We havent had any kinda fight in two weeks, and are actually starting to like each other again. Our therapist is really good, but good night is it expensive!

Polly...glad you'll get a chance to celebrate...sometime!! We do the same thing. We're always "postponing" b'days, anniversaries, etc. 'cause our scheduals are so messed up!!

BTW, EM...Harry and I have you and Bren beat. We'll be celebrating anniversary #33 on April 19th :-)!!!!

Good article EM! I believe its common pratice now to give a course of antibiotics before a root canal. Also its not just root canals either. All dental disease, and decay can work themselves into the organs. Floss, floss, floss....Thats the mantra

Yeah, I've always been a flosser, so that didnt help me! I dont really have a problem with cavities though, just the gums. I always have antibiotics when I have dental work actually, cuz I have mitral valve prolapse which supposedly makes my ticker more suseptible to infection.

Wait a minute EM!! Without that floss your whole jaw could have fallen off by now! Laugh Laugh!!

Got me?? Some people seem to have those teeth problems no matter what they do. Back in 1964 they said science was close to having a vaccine against gum disease? Still waiting...
