Can someone please guide me to where I may acquire some information on Jaharahs (spelling?)Window. This is for my own personal curiosity. I am not a student or professional. Thank you, in advance, for your help. Deborah

I do not know of this, and the word as you have spelled it brings up little on the web. Could you please explain what a "Jaharahs Window" is?

Johari's window is a four paned window of self awareness. It breaks down like this:

The first pane consists of everything you and others can see about yourself.

The second pane is the blind pane and it consists of everything about you that is visible to others but not known to you.

The third pane is the hidden pane and it consists of things you know about yourself that others are unaware of.

The unknown pane is last and it is everything about you that has yet to be discovered by you or anyone else.

I remember learning about this in a counseling course. I believe it's "Johari's window" and has to do with self-understanding. It is diagrammed as one square divided into four smaller squares, or windows. They represent 1) the part of yourself only you can see, 2) the part seen only by others, 3) the part seen by both you as well as others and 4) the portion nobody can see ("Johari's window"). You can probably find other info on the web.
