Importing coffee from Honduras

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Coffee Related Buy/Sell/Trade : One Thread

I'm looking for any important information about importing coffee from Honduras to sell in the United States. Is there someone who already does this or something similar that can help me get started researching any laws, duties, tarriffs, or other challenges that may be involved? I'd appreciate your help. Thank you

Dear Robert

A friend of mine imports his coffee in green bean form into Australia. He has brilliant coffee from his family estate in Honduras and has won many awards for his product, locally.

If you are interested in representing him brand in the states , I'm sure he would be happy to hear from you. He also travels to the US regularly.
