I'm trying to assemble an editing machine using my new laptop (Dell Inspiron 5100) to edit some movies i recorded with my Hi-8 (Canon ES8200V) camcorder. Is this possible? Can you recommend some equipment and software i can use to do this? I have XP Home edition as my OS. Thanks..
