i work at memorial medical center in modesto ca.i am a hostess we deliver food to all the patients.there is another worker he is 20 yrs. old he cussed me out and has verbally harrassed me to were i don,t feel i can work with him any longer i feel this a hostile work enviroment what are my options the bosses have been taking his side please advise me on this problem sincerly JAMI S. I'm doing a paper at school on harrassement. Would you mind telling me more about your situation.

Another thing....if you want to do something about this. Keep records. Dates, times and specifice details about the harrassement. Then go to your bosses. If that doesn't work turn them into their bosses. You have a right to work in a hositle free environment. YOu can email me at my address if interested in answering any questions for me. Thanks!

SORRY, I DON'T HAVE AN ANSWER FOR YOU. I WAS CHECKING OUT THIS SITE TO SEE IF I COULD GET AN ANSWER FOR MY PROBLEM. I TOO AM BEING VERBALLY/PSYCHOLOGICALLY HARRASSED BY A CO-WORKER WHICH IS MAKING FOR A HOSTILE WORK ENVIRONMENT. I HAVE JUST COMPLAINED TO TOP MANAGEMENT AND ALL I GOT WAS A SMILEY SMIRK AND "I'LL LOOK INTO IT" WHICH TO ME MEANS I SHOULD GET LOST AND TAKE MY PROBLEM WITH ME.
