hi. does anyone understand the ending for samurai deeper kyo? who won at the end? the voice sound like demon eyes kyo, but his hair was short like kyoshiro. anyone wanna tell me? ^^

Hey, me and my fiance are huge fans, and well we have a few theorys.

his was that kyoshiro wins in the end... but he also agreed with mine

mine is that kyoshiro destoyed the body but merged souls, because kyoshiro love lady sakua before, but there was hints that demon eye kyo had 'feelings' for miss yuya (sorry for wrong name spellings) lol anyways but i dont think he had the copacity to feel 'love' however because he was derived from hatred, evil, and the will to fight... so in the end i think they merged and since lady sakua and kyoshiro we no longer tied like they once were that feeling that demon eyes had was enforced when they finally joined again... so he was finally whole but completely different in person and love interests :D

I think that Kyo won because..1.if u look at the shadow walking out right after the battle, youll see that the shadow has a thing sticking out of the right shoulder blade from the armor that Kyo wearing. and 2. the hair of the guy by the river is red...even though its short. But still i think that theres possibility of them merging..but maybe in to Kyos body? If u think about it when Kyo and Kyoshiro fought the first battle, Kyoshiro won because he had more fighting knowlegde..even though kyo has the so called ultimate body. but after masamusa taught kyo everything..that should mean that they have equal knowledge but kyo has the stronger body.

Just finished watching the end and I'm not sure who the winner is. I thought is could have been either of their voices and although the hair was short I don't think you could really tell if it was red or not. But Yuya does have the medicine case so it could be Kyoshiro, if only they'd let us see his eyes, but maybe that's also a sign that it's not Kyo. Anyways I hope it's Kyoshiro, he seemed like a cooler character, even though he doesn't have control of the body most of the time.

Kyo wins the fight with Kyoshiro. Before Kyo took the body of ultimate power he looked just like Kyoshiro. He left his hair long and red so people could tell them apart when Kyo forged his own legend. After killing Kyoshiro he loses the want to have to prove himself the be the best fighter in the world anymore. He lives the rest of his life with Yuya selling medicine in memory of Kyoshiro.

Hah, they merge and become one again, like before Lord Kyoshiro separated his peaceful side and fighting side.

Though someone won, it ultimately doesn't matter as they once again are the same.

I'm pretty sure that the souls merged together. I mean think about it. You can't tell who it is by the voice or the eyes. Maybe the ending was saying that in the end when they fought they were only trying to see who was the better fighter in the world.I mean that's all Kyo wanted. He only wanted to be the best in the world. B/c when they were fighting Nobunaga(however you spell that name) Kyoshiro comes back and says that they need to bring the 5 muramasas together. And then out of nowhere Kyo comes saying in an almost friendly way, "Let me handle this." And then Kyoshiro says some stuff and then kyo says something close to like "It doesn't matter. Not the past only the present. That's all. I move from one moment to the next. That's my way. That's OUR way." So I REALLY think the souls got together. I mean from that statement Kyoshiro had actually let Kyo take control of his part of the soul. So maybe in the end they decided to get together. It's just a guess. But I think it's a good one^_^

very simple. There are two things to look at, kyo and kyoshiro are one being, if one saw the two personalities as one carefully, then at the end the tone of attitude of kyo/kyoshiro was that they merged together as one. However kyo won the fight at the end, but he was tired of fighting too and his only fight was with kyoshiro, thus after defeating him he had no reasons to be around, but to merge back with kyo and live peacefully, because that's how kyo was in his mind, he didn't love killing needlessly, however taking the bad guys down he took it enjoyingly. just a hint, listen to the tone of voice of kyo/kyoshiro at the end. Also remember that Yuya said that no matter who wins or losses, the sadness is the same and she would live with that sadness, the medicine box she was carrying does tell a bit about it.

Is Samurai Deeper Kyo any good? I almost bought it but it seemed (I just skimmed it) like a rip-off of Rurouni Kenshin. Then again, I guess you COULD say Flame of Recca is a cheap rip-off of Yuu Yuu Hakusho...And yet that's cool and different...Well I know what I mean anyway...

think they merged with Kyo's stronger personality in control.Then Kyo and Yuya went to China for awhile then came back to Japan."Yuya" was selling medicine from China when the other's heard her voice knowing I think where Yuya was so was Kyo.

I think that Kyoshiro won at the end because after the fight the shadow that appears doesn't have a lot of hair at the top. If Kyo had won then it would have shown his long hair in the shadow.
