what if he hadn't died?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Alexander the Great Q&A Forum : One Thread

I am doing a paper for my Western Civ class and I was just wondering if anyone could give me their opinion on what they think Alexander might have done or accomplished in his life if he did not die at such an early age?

write: "If he hadn't died that early there would be less cultural diversity in the world today." Sound like the kind of crap to put in a school report.

he would have probably gathered up his army again and try to go back to the place where they left off before the soldiers started complaining.

I believe that he would've went westward in europe until he hit the nordic countries like england, denmark, norway and such.As a Macedonian it must be known that he was not greek. He was a Macedonian. His mother was illyrian. The greek-city states considered Macedonia and its people barbaric because the Macedonians spoke an unintelligible language other than greek.I believe that if he would've lived long enough he would've had all of europe.
