Up or down direction and is the problem stopping below the landing or above? At what position does the releveling take place? Need a little more information to determine the cause of leveling problems.

Approach speed could be to fast and not enough transistion between slow-downs. Does the elevator drift away from the landing when you do a static test? If so how far?

First thing I would do is get job number and call maxton in nevada and talk to john in tech support, make sure you get one of the old timers at maxton. he can probably resolve the problem in a five minute phone call. Make sure that you have all the stats before you call, speed of car, size of jack, capacity and recent valve order info. the other thing to check is valve coil voltage, do you have blue 110 volt or red 220 volt coils. Believe it or not when the car is full there is more work that the solinoid has to do to open and not full voltage will not let full speed down to come in,especially if the lock string is long due to freight front and rear doors ect. measure valve coil voltage empty car and full speed and write it on the prints for referance. I did not believe it either but its true.

What is your leveling problem? Did you change the whole Valve block or just a valve?
