anyone removed a swinging arm? also SA for sale

Hi, anyone removed a swinging arm, I need to know if nut on sprocket side is also a left handed thread? Any other tips for this Job? Im fitting a gold anodised, polished arm to replace standard

Yes, I just did it to refinish mine. The nut on the sprocket side is right hand thread. When you pull it off, you will find a steel sleeve and behind that and aluminum spacer sleeve. Make sure that you do not foget the thin steel whasher behind the nuts. The whole assembly slides out from the brake side. Do not forget to lube the bearings when you re-assemeble. I hope this helps.
