A recently terminated employee sent me a four page letter responding to the issues that lead to her termination. The letter contained accusations that the reasons discussed were filled with falsehoods and defamed her. She cc(ed) the letter to our client whose account was affected by her failure to handle it properly. This letter could have an adverse impact on the relationship with our client. Is there a recourse for such an action?
