Before you make a request

Have you ever thought about buying the dvd itself? I have been checking requests people have made for 6 months, and two things always comes up.

1. The anime is licensed
2. The person making the request doesn't want to use p2p or any other application

Many people seem to get the misconception that you can find anime on websites. You can, but it will take months to find a decent source that will stay up for over a week, not to mention the weak quality the video will be in is anything but impressive. Overall, trying to finish a series or downloading an anime movie is impossible by just googling. Now you might ask, "Is this the end of the world?" No it isn't, you can still get anime, but if you don't try using p2p applications, you will run out of sources for anime very quickly.

The main complain about using p2p for people here, I have realized, is that they are either too lazy to try and learn how to use it, or they say the file d/ls too slow. The first one I can't solve because if I can create a solution for universal laziness, I'd be a CEO and not here talking about this. However, when people say that the files they're d/ling is too slow, do they realize that it's even slower to attempt finding one on websites? The one biggest misconception people have when it comes to grabbing anime is that they can do it fast and they can do it for free. I'm sorry, if you want it fast you'll have to buy the dvd, if you want it for free you'll have to wait.

I don't have time to type a very convincing argument because it's late, and if you are still adamant on relying on http sources for anime, no one is stopping you, but if you want to learn what applications there are that will ease you in searching for anime, go to http://www.slyck.com/, it has comprehensive guides for every filesharing tool that exists.

p.s. I'd like to request gohan to not move this in the off topic section since this is after all, very much request related.

I definitely agree, and I think people should be reading this again. This will apply for a while
