I just checked funimation.com and it didn't even have it on there. I think animesuki said that Funimation licensed it. People may still have it for direct though.

you cant find/download full metal alchemist anymore beacause it was bought by a company called funamation(even at anime suki, they had to get rid of it).....it is now a licenced show, meaning you cant get it off bittorrent anymore......those bastards....it pisses me off

Trust me, even though it's been licensed, there will still be groups subbing it. Check downloadanime.org periodically, probably every week, just like before, since they don't police their torrents for licensed stuff. Also, the site suprnova.org doesn't police them, either.Even though it's been licensed, people will still distro it, because (a) it's too popular and (b)there will always be poor college and high school anime fans who can't/won't buy the DVD's and would rather see it subbed than dubbed by (of all groups!) Funimation. Most anime fans will remember them for the * ahem* sterling job they did on Tenchi. At least, they'd better keep distributing it, or I (and a large number of other people) will be very pissed.

Hey All, I wanna know if anyone knows where I can get Full Metal Alchemist episode 31. I was like 98% done downloading it when my source yanked it without warning! Grrrrrrrrrr! FMA 35 is not yet completed. Aoi-Anime (the better of the two English groups who took over for Anbudom/Anime-keep) is a bit slow this week because their translator's on vacation. 35 is out in raw and with Chinese subtitles only at the moment (different group).Aoi-Anime is easiest to contact on IRC (#aoi-anime@irc.rizon.net), though the forum topic for their FMA updates is available here (http://aoi-anime.darkslyde.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11). I just downloaded from www.boxtorrents.com 1-26 episodes and there is a problem.Episodes 24 & 25 seem to be broken,I mean no matter what kind of player I use,there is always the same message on black background:"WARNING:NOTHING TO OUTPUT BFRAME DECODER LAG" And there is only audio o_O I doubt if it's codec stuff,beacouse all episodes are coded as XVID and only these two episodes don't work. Hey, for those of you who are looking for episodes 27-31 from AnimeKeep who got screwed in the middle of download (like me), I just found a place where you can find these episodes. Here's the link:http://www.torrentreactor.net/torrents/view_13655
It's a batch torrent, so if you have the other files, just insert them into the folder the torrent creates, and change their names to whatever the torrent names them, and you can get the episodes that you need.
Also, I found torrents for episodes 31-35 on the following site:

Uhm... Genious is not a word, genius. I found almost all episodes on www.suprnova.org If you can only find a batch file, using Azureus bit torrent client will allow you to select which files you download without making you have to move files around and rename them.Peace

My bad, I guess you're right. I just double checked my links and it seems like with the exception of boxtorrents, they are all down. It is apparent that these links are being moved around constantly because fansubbers fear Funimation's wrath, so you just have to hunt around until the pop up again. If anyone has one episode they are missing I might be persuaded to upload it to them in an email if they have an account capable of receiving such a large file. And if you're missing more than one, you're out of luck unless you want to send me CD's and pay for postage both ways.

Hey guys, I know for sure that Spoon is still cool and is releasing FMA regularly. Sonchou sucks ass. They released a Naruto ep and it turned out to be in French. But Spoon releases FMA about every Sunday. Its really good. The website give above with 8080 in it is good.

Boxtorrents has had some problems with their servers for a while. They just made a large move over to a new pHp server and I guess they are having probs with the new one as well. I would say that Spoon is your best bet to get FMA. They pretty consistent. Check every sun-mon to see if the new FMA has been subbed.

Hi, I just found this site, and i know how much frustrating it was to find the eps, but it wasn't "SO" difficult after all, after it was licensed, i get them from aoi-anime, then they dropped it, then got it from suprnova (sonchou's, and then spoon's releases) anyways, I have all eps from 1 to 37 and pretty much soon 38 as well (once it's released.. still waiting :P), if anyone needs an episode, they can email me, and i can upload (i can't upload to 100 people at once so don't mail_bomb me please), ONLY if the ep CANNOT BE FOUND ANYWHERE.. first search on suprnova.org, sonchou and spoon's websites. No you do not have to Join. One of their servers crashed and it contained some FMA Samurai 7 & Tenjou Tenge. They say it may not ever come back up, so it may be awhile till you see 41&42 from Endless-anime. as for episode 41 you can find it on Suprnova.org they do not have 42 yet. Thanx

Hey guys....FMA 41 + 42 by "FORK" (Spoon?!) on suprnova right now, and there's a lot of seeders, so they're moving down fast. I was able to get Shinsen subs FMA 41 and 42 from channel #shinsen- subs on irc.rizon.netBots in the shinsen channel start SHS| So to see what that bot has type "/msg SHS|botname xdcc list" To download "/msg SHS|botname xdcc send #(the number of the file you want - should be given in xdcc list)"
Also don't forget to enable dcc in whatever client you use and to turn ignore off. Keep in mind you may need to configure your firewall if behind one.
If you need to know more about IRC there are guides all over the net, just search in google.

Ep29 to Ep37 Sonchou did a great job too, plans to release Ep37 to Ep42 (I like spoon's best)
Ep41 to Ep42 Shinsen took up the job
Ep43 to Ep44 Shinsen-Sonchou working together
You may also find recent episodes subbed by Fork (I wouldn't recommend these ones cuz some translations are different and may well bother you. Thx to do the job anyway we feel secure having 2 different versions)
French people should look for the [TKM] ones, a great job too. I'm french but

The best place to go and download anime is animesuki. But they don't have Full Metal Alchemist so go here ://fma.xezi.com/torrents.html all you need is winrar. First u go to this site and download episodes like 1-5, 6-10 and etc. Second you extract the episode from winrar and u will get the episode. they have up till 44 i think

Argh... I really, really like FMA but I can't believe how hard it is to acquire. One minute it's everywhere, next minute it's nowhere. A seeder is some1 who's got a torrent of a completed file, so basically its someone who is uploading the files for other users to dlOnce u finished your torrent dl you also will become a seeder

Try downloadin Divx codec and/or player. It works for me.

I recommend uninstalling any codec packs first off as they can cause problems with other codecs, not to mention alot of them have out of date codecs. It is always better just to get what you need. Go to www.doom9.org and go to downloads, look for ffdshow, it is an excellent filter for playback of divx and xvid. Also get the xvid 1.01 they have. Go to your fav. search engine and look for the Core Media player, install that first. Then install the xvid 1.01 and lastly the ffdhow (uncheck the xvid association option while installing). The Core media player also installs everything you need to play .ogm files (you may or may not have heard of these - basically they are files with more then 1 audio track and also contain text streams for optional subtitles). You may also want to get the ac3 codec while you are at doom9, this is for playing files that have the five-channel dolby audio. And finally get a utility called G-Spot which you can run on files you have trouble with. It will tell you what filters/codecs are required for playing it. It also simulates a rendering.

Just a helpful hint. Suprnova.org has a back door. usa.qtm.com.ar/torrents/Thats what I use every time. Its eaiser the search the site for torrents.
Also, I use Nimo codec pack and a Divx codec. I have not had any problems with those. I use WMA or WinAmp to play my eps.

Yeah, just watched 51. It is the end of FMA (at least until the movie). As for 52 total eps I think maybe there was a pre-series ep. that was unreleased. I thought Nanashi (previously Fork) was supposed to do it and release it as FMA #0 but in their irc channel (#nanashi in rizon) it used to be listed in the topic as being "On Hold". Not sure about this, maybe someone else knows what is up with that unaired ep. and where else to get it if not from nanashi.

Not a bad fansubbing job though....very well done. All in all it was a pretty good ending to one of my favorite shows. I'm eager to catch the movie (Summer 2005 in case you didn't know). Oh, and remain nameless...dude my name is right here....same as above. Anyway, lets hope the buzz I've heard about a possible second season based on the success of the english release have some degree of truth behind it. Wouldn't that be cool? Come on Square-Enix!
