Today, Good Friday, the parishioners venerated a three foot church crucifix after Mass (Plenary Indulgence attached to Adoration of the Cross on Good Friday)... but why did some parishioners bring their own wall crucifixes to Mass? Is this an extension of the adoration of the cross? But why bring it to Mass when they can adore their own wall crucifix at home? just curious ...
