My father has been battling lung cancer for almost 4 years. His story is remarkable. When he was diagnosed, the doctors thought that they could take the tomer out with surgerey and everything would be ok. Well, it grew and they couldnt remove it. He went through chemo and it had shrunk to a point where he took 1 pill a day. It spread to his brian and he underwent radiation, that as well shrunk the cancer. However his winning streak has hit a bump and the cancer has grown. He just underwent his last chemo and he is getting his CAT scans in a week. I ask ok you to take a moment and pray for him. His is only 52 years old and a remarkable father with 3 children. He has been married to my mother for 31 years and I hope that they will have 31 more. Any kind thoughts help, Thank you so much.

Dear Sister I will begin prayers right now. God is good throughout the journey of life, regardless of the challenges. Praise him through this difficult experience even when it hurts to much much to pray. My prayer for you and your family is the blessed peace that only God can give. I pray for your strength and for your father. Keep praying Sister, God hears you.

We are praying for you, your father, and your family. We ask that Dr. Jesus stop by to assist and comfort you.

Dear Sister Knous:

I am praying for your father and for your family. I understand that you all are going through a very difficult time but place your trust in God. He is your hope and your strength and understands all that you go through. Give all your pain and concerns to Him and He will see you through. Below is an excerpt I found on www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4693847. It was takebn from Anne Graham-Lotz's book, "Why7"

"Trust Him.

When guilt takes the edge off every joy . . .

When there are no answers to your questions . . .

Trust Him when you don’t understand.

Trust His heart.

Trust His purpose.

Trust Him when it is your heart that’s broken.

Trust His goodness.

Trust Him beyond the grave.

Trust Him to know best.

Trust His plan to be bigger than yours.

Trust Him to keep His Word.

Trust Him to be on time.

Trust Him to be enough.

Trust Him to set you free.

Trust Him — and Him alone!

The times when you and I can’t trace His hand of purpose, we must trust His heart of love! Trust HIM!

When I don't understand why, I trust Him because…

God does care — more than I can possibly know:"

Hello Sister Knous,

I pray that your father, your mother, and you will feel the presence of the Holy Spirit in this trying time in your life. I pray that you will be comforted and given renewed strength for this trial. I pray that you won't feel that God has abandoned you or feel all alone. I pray the peace that passes all comprehension will fill your family's heart at this time. I ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Your request for prayer is being answered in a major way. I host a radio program for our church entitled, "Are You A witness for the Lord," (Moody Chapel A. M. E., Little Rock). There have been numerous testimonies of people who have defeated cancer through Christ. A good friend of mine is one of them. She fasted and prayed after learning she had breast cancer. God heard her prayer and when she returned to the doctor it was gone. Jesus is alive and well & He is able to heal your father. Keep the faith and called those things that be not as though they were. May God Bless you and keep you.
