From charlotte --take I-85 North to exit 121(Holden Rd. exit) make a right onto Holden Rd. Take Holden road to Patterson St. Make a right onto Patterson St. The club is the 3rd Building on the right.

FROM WINSTON-SALEM & Hickory, NC --Take I-40 East to exit 216(Coliseum/Patterson St. Exit/ THe first exit after wendover) take Patterson St. through the first stoplight & the club is the 3rd building on the right.

From Raleigh & Burlington --Take I-40 West to High Point Road exit.Take a right at stoplight on to High Point Rd. Take High Point Rd. to Patterson St. Make a left on to Patterson St. Club Approx 1 Mile on left.

Egh, I'm stuck in Pinnacle, NC but I'll sacrifice some gas money to get to GSO to see if this is worthwhile... I agree that NC needs a kickass all-techno club, but it's not happening anytime soon. Anyone know about the scene down in the Wilmington area? Still thriving?

I have bwwn in this area for two years I have spinnened in Puerto rico, DC, and New york. This state has been a disappointment. I have been spinning even before raves existed. I spin House proggressive and trance. I would like to see this really work cause I know for a fact people have the love for this style. And please don't call it techno. Techno died in 1993. To me it is a sin to call the music I love techno. Also anyone intrested in hearing a a cd of a new style of mixing it is at a cost. But you will hear my talent and I am always looking for a guest spot for all you promotors. Also the comment about skip a beat he is a good guy he brings a crowd but he needs to control his flow and let the music work in his favor instead of scratching through the entire song.However I give him much respect for his ambition. ANd yes I am old skool but maybe you should here how i performe besides me talking. Remeber all of you keep it real. Especially the owner and investors of club nine cause NC is a tough market. Dor me I am focusing back on producing and what started it all for me House music.

I agree. If you do NOT KNOW that techno is a specific form of electronic dance music, please do not use the term. Techno is not dead, but it is the stuff that came out of Detroit and Germany in the 80s. All other electronic dance music or "techno" as you call it should be referred to by its proper genre, i.e. drum 'n' bass, trance, breaks, house, happy hardcore. If you are referring to all of it, it is EDM or electronic dance muisc. If you call trance "techno", you don't need to be into the scene, or even trying to be. If RFitchie Hawtin was spinning at the club on Thursdays, then you could call it "Techno" thursdays. You should be sued for false advertising.

Just wondering...does Club 9 offer any house or dnb still on Thursdays or, for us working crowd, on the weekend? I want to dance and I can't find anywhere around here that offers that kind of music. Any suggestions? Thanks
