I am a 51 year old male 20 pounds overweight, but otherwise in fairly good shape (but for pain & mobility). I am bone-on-bone in both hips and need bi-lateral replacement. Assuming I am a good candidate for either a THR or Resurfacing, how do I decide which is best for me?

All things being equal, is the liklihood for a revision lesser or greater with THR or Resurface?

If I were to do same day surgery on both hips, would one procedure be easire than the other?

Given a choice of cement vs cementless, does one have greater long term benefit than the other?
