Roller on Daylab II is causing yellow band .... Please help !!!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : polaroid transfers : One Thread

Roller on Daylab II is causing yellow band straight in the middle of the films. The yellow band is the same size as the white paper tab that you would used to pull the film out of the polaroid 3 1/4x4 1/4 base.

I will bet you that you have a build-up of emulsion on the roller that is causing the roller to "dig" into the film as it is pulled. Clean and dry thoroughly and replace. I hope this helps. Cathy

I gave the Polaroid people a call today. I told them that i took apart the rollers to check and found that the two metal clips on the side were holding onto the rollers too tight causing the bottom roller to become stiff.

.... and they having me send the base in to have it check.

I'll post the result when i get it back. If anyone interested please make another visit here or give me your email address and i'll notify you when available.

Thank a million for your advise Catherine.
