Help with .rar filesgreenspun.com : LUSENET : Community Anime Reviews : One Thread |
Does anyone know what kind of program can open a .rar file and if it's free? Also, what kind of media player should I use to play it in?

7-zip is free and support .rar format. You'll have to extract the content of your rar file first. If it's an anime, the file is probably .avi or .ogm. You'll need codecs to play those files with your windows media player (the one comes with Bill's windows). Download K-Lite codec pack full and it should be good.http://www.7-zip.org/
