Over a year and a half and still in pain

I'm wondering if someone could explain something or were in the same situation my case is rare because of my age. I was 13 when my hips were pinned then 2 days before my 20th brithday they replaced the left hip. It's been over a year and a half and it hurts even worse then I did before. I thought this would make it better and there would be no further problems they never told me why in detail I had this problem or why my hip went like it did. Now my right one is going out and it's been burtal no pain medication helps. I had an Orthopedic that did my replacement tell me i'll be fine on and off and he was supposed to be the best in my county, I tried telling them over and over after months of the hip being replace I was in pain and wouldn't stop and nothing helped they finally looked and only noticed that my leg was shorter 2 inches at the hip they said a shoe lift would work and it didn't it made matters worse. I'm stuck in this situation now were i'm worried they might have to go back into the left side before even replaceing my right hip, if anyone has any anwsers it would be great.
