The Rev. Henry A. Joubert, President of the Presiding Elder's Council of the 15th Episcopal District, Presiding Elder of the Cape Town District, Pastor of St. Peter's Parkwood, Husband of Mrs. Lilian Joubert, Father of Beryl, Carol, Andrew, Cedric and George, Grandfather of Esther, Timothy and Henri Pillay, and my father in in law, passed away after a very short illness at 22:10 on Wednesday 21 April 2004.

Blessed are those who die in the Lord has proved once again to be an example of how God is able to undertake on behalf of His servants. We are comforted by the thought that what this servant of God has done on behalf of the Master not only fulfilled the great commission of Math 28, but also left some ground-breaking aims and higher goals for us to follow

The congregation of St.Peter's Parkwood Estate mourns he passing of our Pastor, father, mentor and friend. We thank the Lord for the wonderful and blessed 18 years that we had spend with the Rev Joubert. We thank the Lord for sending him ourway. The are no accolades that can measure the love that the Rev Presiding Elder Henry Joubert had for God and the AME Church. "Earths lost is heaven's gain" We know that God has bless us and that he won't forsake us. To Mrs Lilian Joubert and children God will turn your mourning into dancing again, for what the Lord has done is well done. Love and Peace from Roslin Agulhas and the St.Peter's Family.

Let not your hearts be troubled..... our friend and brother has gone home to claim his eternal reward....Be ye of good courage, Jesus says. Allow me to express my profound condolences to you, Mrs. Joubert and family, but be assured that there is joy in heavan, for one of God's elect has come home.We love him, but God loves him best.He will be greatly missed by all of us, for he touched each of our lives in a special way.
