Silver Meteor

Upon recently booking an Amtrak trip I was notified by the agent that the Silver Meteor would be annulled until June 22 due to track work between Savannah and Jacksonville. Apparently the trackwork requires the "curfew"type total shut down of the line(the agent didn't know the hours). 91, the train I am on, departs DC @ 13.40 arrives Winter Haven 10.43(the only Florida train with sleepers). I am planning to attend Kudzu Rails and Folkston is on my itenerary and was wondering how this might affect trainwatching at the "funnel". Thanks in advance for any info. Scott

CSX trackwork is between Savannah and Jesup, GA. This will not effect Folkston except a few less trains held back until evening. 91-92 now running a 16 car train.
