Here is another turkey question, should I seperate the male and female so she will sit on her eggs. People have said to seperate them. But he looks so sad, am I doing the right thing. Any help would be greatly appreciate any help anyone can give me. I am tring to help my son and daughter-in-law start a farm in NY. But need help with the questions he calls me with, the libary here in Va. does not have many books on the subject.

I have no idea about this. I have never seen them separated, but also don't remeber being around very many setting turkeys. Can anyone out there answer this question?
