Happy Mother's Day !!!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : A.M.E. Today Discussion : One Thread

Tomorrow our country will be formally recognizing the creative genius, amazing strength and unlimited patience represented in mothers. While everyday should be "Mother's Day", most church services will be overflowing as children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews come far and near to celebrate with their favorite matriarch. It is a self-evident truth that mothers are indispensable in their role as care givers and life-long nurturers. When I think about what my own mother had to endure to raise three hard-headed boys and married to my own father, saying thank you seems so hollow. When I see how my wife selflessly delays her own important activities to meet the needs of our own children and accomodate my schedule as well, she is deserving of a Presidential Medal of Honor. To all women on this BB, even those who have never experienced the pains and joys of childbirth, Happy Mother's Day. I would also like to extend a blessed Mother's Day greeting to those who have lost their Moms by death but not by memory. Finally, a special Happy Mother's Day is extended to Parson Denise Rogers.

Now, before I close a little Biblical trivia about mothers is offered below. See how well you can do WITHOUT consulting your Bible. QED
